Simon is a highly experienced R & D professional with over 25 years of combined experience working both client side and consulting.
He has a background in engineering design and a PGDip in Strategy and Innovation from the Säid Business School, University of Oxford.
Simon has held previous roles at Mondelēz International and Crown Holdings and he has also worked for the UK Ministry of Defence.
Simon is also a seasoned speaker and is passionate about the environment, specifically regenerative agriculture.
Before founding SCR Innovation Simon's previous clients included Nestlé, Danone, Mondelēz, BAT, Unilever, and P & G.
Alex is a Ph.D. chemist with degrees from Emory University and the University of Minnesota. He is currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on Management of Technology from Georgia Tech.
Alex has held previous roles with BASF and Evalueserve, where he worked in diverse functions such as laboratory R&D, strategy, marketing, intellectual property management, and consulting. He has experience working in fields as varied as agricultural chemicals, automotive catalysts, over-the-counter drugs, enzymes, oil and gas, batteries, and materials.
The impacts of his work have included optimizing IP spend by millions of dollars, identifying an infringing product that yielded an eight-figure license, competitive intelligence efforts that identified threats to incumbent products, prioritizing new markets, and more.
